Barcelona Symphony Orchestra travel to France, Germany, Netherlands and more on 2025 tour
Concerts at prestigious Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival and in concert halls of Düsseldorf and Stuttgart programmed

The Barcelona and National Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia (OBC) will kick off its 2025 tour on April 11 in Madrid, with trips to France, Germany, the Netherlands and the Basque Country also scheduled.
In total, it will visit nine cities in four different countries on five trips and will bring a group of 100 musicians, five prestigious soloists, and three guest Catalan composers who will premiere commissioned works.
With the main conductor Ludovic Morlot at the helm, the OBC will debut on April 26 at the prestigious Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France, and in the concert halls of Stuttgart (November 12) and Düsseldorf (November 15).
The orchestra will also return to other leading continental venues such as Lyon, Amsterdam and Hamburg, while the concerts in Bilbao and San Sebastian will conclude the tour.
During the presentation ceremony of the tour, Robert Brufau, director of the L'Auditori concert hall in the Catalan capital, highlighted that the second European tour after the pandemic is the result of years of "slow-cooked" work that is now beginning to bear fruit.
