Barcelona Beer Fest celebrates Black-owned breweries and culture in 2025 edition
Collaboration with Barrel & Flow Fest brings celebration of African-American culture to Catalonia from April 11-13

The Barcelona Beer Festival returns April 11-13, offering another extensive range of treats for any beer-loving palate.
The craft beer festival has grown in recent years to become one of the most important meeting points for craft beer enthusiasts and professionals in southern Europe.
This year, the event has teamed up with Barrel & Flow Fest, an American festival that celebrates creativity, inclusion and Black-owned breweries and its culture in the world of craft beer.
Barrel & Flow is more than just a festival, it's a platform that celebrates and empowers the Black community in the beer industry. The event, held in Pittsburgh, combines beer, music, and art to stake a claim for diversity and equity in a sector traditionally underrepresented by the Black community.
The impact and uniqueness of Barrel & Flow Fest has been recognised nationally in the United States, with USA Today naming it the best beer festival in the country.
Barrel & Flow brings an exceptional selection of five breweries that exemplify the quality and diversity of the Black-owned breweries with them to Barcelona. Each brings their own unique vision and style, combining tradition and innovation.
Rhythm Brewing Co pays homage to swing and jazz music, specialising in high-quality lagers. Soul Mega, based in Washington DC, was born with the goal of redefining craft beer from an inclusive, quality perspective. Cajun Fire Brewing Company is inspired by the rich Creole and African-American culture, offering innovative beers that incorporate local ingredients and influences from Southern cuisine. Two Locals Brewing Company, is one of Philadelphia's first African-American breweries, while DOPE Cider House brings a different approach to the festival with natural and creative ciders.
The collaboration between Barrel & Flow and the Barcelona Beer Festival brings beer fans a unique chance to explore breweries visiting Europe for the first time but, above all, to learn first-hand how a beer festival can be transformative in its immediate environment, both in society and in the industry.
Tickets for the Barcelona Beer Fest are already available on the event website.
