Antònia Font named as first headliner of Cruïlla 2023
Mallorcan indie rock group announce six concerts for next year
After playing in front of an exuberant crowd of 15,000 on Saturday in the Palau Sant Jordi, Mallorcan indie rock group Antònia Font have been announced as the first headliner for next year's Cruïlla festival.
The group has announced their first six concerts of 2023, which will include one of Barcelona's biggest music festivals on July 8.
Antònia Font will present their new album, 'Un minut stroboscopica', at the festival next year while also playing some hits from their back catalog. Their last album was released a decade ago, 2012's 'Vostè és aquí'.
It will be the third time that the Catalan-language band will perform at the festival, with the last performance coming twelve years ago.
Tickets for Cruïlla 2023, taking place between July 6-8 next summer, can already be purchased from the festival's website.
Antònia Font had initially retired in 2013, but made a comeback for the first post-pandemic Primavera Sound festival this summer, before announcing their full return with a new album coming soon.
