World-renowned Belgian DJ and producer Amelia Lens will inaugurate Barcelona’s newest cultural venue, laMercedes, with a day of electrifying techno and dance music on September 21.

The event, organized by Primavera Sound in collaboration with Nitsa Club and falling under the umbrella of Primavera Bits, will take place in the newly transformed former Mercedes-Benz factory in the Sant Andreu district, converting it into a concrete dance floor.

Amelie Lens is one of the biggest names in current contemporary techno. Her performances are known for their relentless energy, hypnotic beats, and acid-infused soundscapes. Therefore, she is often described as a transformative force in the genre.

Lens will play alongside other guests yet to be announced in a seven-hour day in the newly unveiled laMercedes, a venue that has officially joined Barcelona's cultural circuit as a premier venue for music and events. Formerly an industrial space, the fully renovated venue now features a fitting design, acoustics, and accessibility, making it an ideal setting for concerts, electronic music sessions, and other diverse cultural gatherings.

The electronic music session at laMercedes will take place from early afternoon until nightfall on September 21. General sales for tickets open on March 27 at 10 am, starting at €35 plus distribution fees. Presale for Primavera Tours for Revolut customers starts March 26 at 10 am.
