120,000 at three-day Sónar as festival comes to a close
30th edition of electronic music show sees performances including Eric Prydz, Bad Gyal, Fever Ray and Peggy Gou
Around 120,000 people will have attended the three-day Sónar festival when it comes to a close this Saturday night.
The 30th edition of the electronic music show began on Thursday and its line-up include the likes of Eric Prydz, Bad Gyal, Fever Ray and Peggy Gou.
Around 51,000 of the festival-goers attended the Sónar by Day and 69,000 the Sónar by Night.
Over two-thirds of the attendees have been Spanish nationals (68%), with the rest coming from over 100 countries.
Aphex Twin, BICEP live, Max Cooper with a 3Dshow, Oneohtrix Point Never, Ryoji Ikeda, Eliza Rose and Little Simz were some of the other highlights.
Sónar will hold its 31st edition between June 13 and 15, next year, with tickets on sale from next Tuesday.
