Miró homage

Love is the guiding theme and artistic concept for the show, exploring love for nature, the city, and coexistence.

The designers' aim is to create a visual experience marking the transition from 2024 to 2025, inviting everyone to share a moment of joy and collective celebration.

Ten minutes before midnight, the spectacle will begin with a special tribute to Catalan artist Joan Miró, marking the 50th anniversary of the Foundation bearing his name.

His most iconic works, such as the La Rambla mosaic Pla de l’Os and the sculpture Woman and Bird, will inspire the visual elements that open the celebration.

Just before midnight, a large heart will beat over Montjuïc, symbolizing friendship and solidarity.

At the stroke of the New Year, 2025 will be projected into the sky by 500 drones, followed by a fireworks display using 800kg of pyrotechnics.

Catalan public broadcaster TV3 will broadcast the event live.
