Mobile World Congress ends with record-equalling 109,000 visitors
Tech fair equals highest attendance, reached before the pandemic

The Mobile World Congress has come to a close, with the 2025 edition matching the highest attendance the tech fair has ever seen, with 109,000 attendees, coming from 205 different countries and territories.
The same figure was reached in the last edition before the pandemic, in 2019.
John Hoffman, CEO of organizing company GSMA, celebrated the news, saying the fair “is where industries come together, and this year we saw clearly the speed at which technology is reshaping the world around us."
"From AI-powered networks to the future of smart mobility, this week’s discussions in Barcelona will set the tone for the year ahead,” he added.

At the week long event in Fira Gran Via congress hall, there were more than 2,900 exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, and more than 1,200 speakers and thought leaders, of which 41% are women.
The GSMA Ministerial Programme brought together 188 delegations from 148 countries and 40 intergovernmental organisations, 66 ministers, and 111 heads of regulatory authorities.
4YFN welcomed more than 1,000 exhibiting startups, nearly 380 speakers and over 900 investors with crowdfunding worth €60 billion.

The Talent Arena, organised by Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCapital) and co-located with MWC25 at Fira Montjuïc, welcomed more than 20,000 attendees.
56% of attendees came from industries adjacent to the mobile ecosystem, while half of the attendees were management level and above, and 21% of those were C-level.
The fair is still a male-dominated event, however, with just over a quarter (27%) of attendees female.
More than 2,900 journalists and industry analysts from around the world visited the Mobile World Congress in 2025.
