LEVEL to fly between Barcelona and Miami from March 31
Airline adds sixth plane to fleet and will take off three times per week
Barcelona's LEVEL airline, a low-cost focused on long-range flights, will connect the Catalan capital with Miami from March 31, 2024, as announced on Tuesday with a press release.
The airline added a sixth airplane to its fleet, an Airbus 330-200, the same one used for its other routes to the United States, such as New York, Boston, LA, and San Francisco.
Flights will take off thrice weekly, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
LEVEL will fly to Miami "not only for its interest as a tourist destination, or because it is a large origin point from many visitors in Barcelona, but because it has experienced a corporate and cultural growth during the last years," the text reads.
The plane will leave Barcelona at 3:40 pm and land in Miami at 8 pm, and leave the US city at 9:45 pm, and land in the Catalan capital at 1:10 pm, the following day.
Tickets are already available on their website from €249 per trip.
The company set its base in the Catalan capital in 2017 with the "compromise of long-rage connecting Barcelona, with new and relevant destinations for the city based on different angles," the text reads.
