ISE breaks all-time record with more than 73,000 attendees
Attendance up 27% over last year at the world's largest audiovisual trade show
The world's largest audiovisual trade show, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), broke attendance records at its 20th edition.
The show, which took place this week in Barcelona, attracted 73,891 unique verified attendees from 162 countries, a 27% increase compared to the 2023 edition.
Wednesday's attendance of 51,617 was the highest ever for a single day, beating the previous record by nearly 22%.
Total registrations reached 95,396 with 172,627 visits over the four days. Friday attendance was 24,528, a record for the show since it became a four-day event.
Mike Blackman, ISE's executive director has celebrated these figures, claiming they are a testament to "the transformative power of innovation and collaboration within our community.
The exhibition showcased the latest technologies in the audiovisual field, with artificial intelligence being particularly popular at this year's edition.
A total of 80 Catalan companies and technology research centers were among the more than 1,300 exhibitors present this year.
Catalan Economy Minister Roger Torrent told the media that the audiovisual sector is growing in Catalonia, having generated more than 7,500 million euros in revenue in 2023, an increase of 7% compared to 2022.
