Girona-Costa Brava Airport kicks off summer season with 49 destinations
WizzAir launches new route to Budapest, while Ryanair introduces flights to Sarajevo, Lublin, and Ostrava

Girona-Costa Brava Airport has launched its summer schedule this week with 49 destinations, two more than last year.
This summer 2025 the airport in northern Catalonia will have flights to 15 European countries.
WizzAir began operating a new route between Girona and Budapest (Hungary) on Tuesday with two weekly flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays).
Ryanair has launched three new routes, to Ostrava (Czech Republic), Lublin (Poland) and Sarajevo (Bosnia), with two weekly flights on each route.
The Lublin flight (Mondays and Fridays) brings to seven the number of Polish airports Ryanair flies to from Girona, joining Krakow, Gdansk, Katowice, Poznan, Warsaw, and Wroclaw.
The Irish low-cost airline launched its route to the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, on Monday. Flights will operate three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays) until the end of May, dropping to two weekly connections on Wednesdays and Saturdays until the end of the season.
Ryanair's flights between Girona and Ostrava will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays.
