Delta to fly twice daily between Barcelona and New York from May 31
Airline describes Catalonia as "really popular destination" for Americans
The American airline Delta will offer two flights a day between Barcelona and New York from May 31, 2024.
The airline announced it will add another flight to its current connections between the Catalan capital and the United States after this season's "success".
Catalonia is a "really popular destination" among Americans, the company said.
The vice president of Delta in Europe, Matteo Curcio, explained that "broadening the link between the two cities is an important push for the future growth of business and leisure, as New York is one of the main financial hotspots in the world."
The route will operate using a Boeing 767-300 with 216 seats available.
