Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia is Spain's most expensive street
Iconic boulevard ranks 16th in global ranking, led by Via Montenapoleone in Milan and New York's Fifth Avenue
Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia boulevard is the most expensive street in Spain.
The monthly rent per square meter on this iconic boulevard is €3,180, an increase of 6% from last year.
The second most expensive street in Spain is Madrid's Serrano Street, one of the city's most prestigious areas, with rents reaching €3,060 per square meter.
In third place is another Barcelona street, Portal de l'Àngel, one of the city's most popular shopping destinations, where rents are €3,000 per square meter.
Madrid's Gran Via ties with Portal de l'Àngel, also commanding €3,000 per square meter in monthly rent.
Passeig de Gràcia also ranks as the 16th most expensive street in the world, according to the Main Streets Across the World 2024 report.
The most expensive street in the world this year is Milan's Via Montenapoleone, with rents exceeding €20,000 per month, marking an 11% increase from last year.
This is the first time a European street has topped the global rankings.
In second place is New York's Fifth Avenue, with rents of €19,357 per square meter, followed by London's New Bond Street, where rents reach €17,210 per square meter.
