Barcelona airport receives 6.6% increase in visitors between January and April
Over 15 million passengers have flown through Barcelona airport so far in 2019

Barcelona airport closed the month of April with 4,522,810 visitors flying through its facilities, bringing the year-to-date total to over 15 million.
The April figures sees an increase of 6.6% compared with April 2018, while the 15,033,454 total figure for 2019 so far represents a 6.1% increase compared with the same period in 2018.
The number of international passengers in April increased by 7.7%, while the amount of people getting internal flights went up by 3.9%.
Girona airport saw a drop of 1.5% in the number of passengers for the month of April, and is down 13.9% for the full year to date.
In southern Catalonia, Reus experienced a 24.2% uptick in visitors coming through its doors in April, but still remains down 6.4% counting January-April figures compared with 2018.
