35 flights canceled between Germany and Barcelona due to strike
Catalan capital offers nine routes
A strike called on Monday by the German transport sector has forced 35 flights between Barcelona airport and several German cities to be canceled, as Spanish airports manager AENA reported.
The Catalan capital has nine different routes to Germany; the Barcelona El Prat airport is linked with Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Frankfurt-Hahn, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart.
The most affected airports have been the ones in Dusseldorf, Munich, and Frankfurt, as these last two airports have not operated commercial flights, as they announced on social media.
