8-May-24: 'Spanish govt agrees with unions to reform unemployment benefits'
The Spanish government and the two main trade unions in the country reached an agreement today to reform unemployment benefits. Requirements for getting the benefit are simplified, and more people will now be eligible to receive them. The pact between the administration and unions does not have the support of employers.
