25-Apr-24: 'Spanish PM considers future following investigation into wife'

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is taking five days to consider his future as leader of the Spanish government, after a court opened a corruption investigation into his wife. He will announce whatever decision he takes on Monday. After yesterday's late announcement, today, the plaintiff, Manos Limpias, admitted those allegations could be based on 'fake' news reports. While Socialists back Pedro Sánchez to continue in his role, the opposition is divided on what the leader should do.
