Provisional prison for man after partner's death in Hospitalet de Llobregat
Woman jumped from window on June 20 and passed away from injuries sustained
The gender violence court of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat has sent a man to provisional prison without bail for the death of his partner in the city just south of Barcelona.
The woman had jumped from a window on June 20, as police sources told the Catalan News Agency (ACN), and passed away on Wednesday due to the injuries sustained.
The judge removed custody of the couple's child from the father and forbade him from making contact with the child, who is under the care of a relative.
The investigation is ongoing based on the crimes of murder. Police did not have any previous reports of gender violence in the couple.
