Barcelona (ACN).- The world famous hairdresser Lluís Llongueras has been fired from the company he created. His daughter and director of the company Esther Llongueras dismissed her father by fax. Lluís Llongueras will have to quit the company this very same week. He will receive 6,258 euros as indemnity for an “unjustified” dismissal, as the fax itself states. He will also receive 888 euros extra from various proportional bits of the contract. The company’s official name is “Peluquería y maquillaje (Peyma)”, and Llongueras is its main brand. Llongueras has 120 hair salons spread all over the world.

Most of Peyma’s shares are owned by Lluís Llongueras’ former wife and his two older offspring. They own more than 50% of the shares. A spokesperson for the company told CNA that they do not want to comment on the issue.
