The teams of 'Society of the Snow' and 'Robot Dreams' that couldn't go to the Oscars gala gathered on Sunday evening at the Telefèric Barcelona restaurant in Los Angeles to follow the ceremony.

Actors, producers, screenwriters, and family and friends attended the party organized by the Society of Services for Audiovisual Producers EGEA.

Also in attendance were some survivors of the plane crash that 'Society of the Snow' is based on, such as Roberto Canessa, there with his family.

Unfortunately for all in attendance, the teams returned home empty handed, as 'Robot Dreams' was beaten by 'The Boy and the Heron', while 'Society of the Snow' was bested by 'The Zone of Interest' for Best International Feature and by 'Poor Things' for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

Before the gala began, the teams of both films paraded through the photocall, excited and in anticipation of the awards gala.

"We are very happy, it is very crazy to be living this here, in Los Angeles, just because of the recognition that we are receiving," Andy Pruss, an actor in 'Society of the Snow', told the Catalan News Agency.

Government representatives were also present, such as Catalonia's Culture Minister Natàlia Garriga.

Spanish and Catalan producers based in Los Angeles who wanted to experience such an exceptional night for the country's film industry were also present.

Actor Andy Pruss, who played Roy Harley in 'Society of the Snow', was disappointed that his movie didn't win either of the two Oscars it competed for, but he valued the work done in the film very highly nonetheless.

"I feel sad, I would have liked the film to have received this recognition, but it doesn't change anything about what the film has been about or the reception it's had. All the love we've received from everyone who wanted us to win it is a victory," he told the Catalan News Agency.

Pruss said that the film will stay relevant "for life" and that he is "very happy" for the work done.
