MSC opens new cruise terminal at Port of Barcelona
The new Terminal H at Moll Adossat welcomed its first passengers from the MSC Fantasia on Saturday

MSC has opened its new cruise terminal at the Port of Barcelona. Terminal H, located at Moll Adossat, welcomed its first passengers from the MSC Fantasia on Saturday, carrying over 4,000 travelers from the Tunisian port of Rades.
Designed by Ricardo Bofill Architecture Studio (RBTA), the terminal covers 12,500 square meters and is expected to handle around four cruises per week (190 annually). The project involved an investment of approximately €50 million.
"Combining elegant and innovative design with an enhanced passenger experience, the terminal ensures smoother, more memorable journeys from the start," said MSC Cruises, which plans to officially inaugurate Terminal H in the coming months.
On Saturday morning, passengers disembarking from the MSC Fantasia were greeted by MSC Terminal Director Sandra Yunta and MSC Cruises Vice President for Global Ports and Shore Activities Gianluca Suprani.
Terminal H will serve as a base for MSC Cruises – the world's third-largest cruise line with a fleet of 22 ships and the European market leader – as well as for Explora Journeys.
