Mexican player Jonathan dos Santos extends contract with Barça till 2015

The 21-year-old Mexican midfielder will have a buyout clause of 30 million Euros. Jonathan dos Santos started his Barça career with the Infantil B team and has worked his way up to the Barça B squad. Guardiola calls him sometimes to play wit Barça’s first team, such as in the last Champions League game against AC Milan.

Barcelona (FCB).- FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Jonathan dos Santos to extend his contract until the 2014/15 season. His buyout clause will be 30 million Euros and the deal will be signed within a few days. The 21-year old Mexican has come up through the youth teams at FC Barcelona, after joining the Infantil B team and working his way through the other youth teams before reaching the Barça B squad, where he is currently playing. Barça Manager, Pep Guardiola, has called him into the first team on few occasions too, most notably in Tuesday night’s Champions League game in Milan when he came on as a late substitute.


Dos Santos, who is a full Mexican international, made his first team debut with Barça in the Spanish Cup against Cultural Leonesa on October 28th 2009.
