Oriol Junqueras, dismissed as vice-president by the Spanish government, will testify before the Supreme Court on Thursday, according to sources close to him.

I received the summons,” he said on Twitter. “The rule of law and Spanish democracy is this? All democrats will work together to restore democracy.”

Sources consulted by ACN have confirmed that other dismissed ministers such as Raül Romeva, Carles Mundó and Josep Rull, will also appear in the court in the Spanish capital. All of them are accused of crimes of rebellion, sedition and embezzlement of public funds, and face prison sentences of up to 30 years.
