The 'Symphony of the Seas' is the largest cruise ship in the world, and it is at the Port of Barcelona. The vessel is 362 meters in length and 72 meters high. It can host 6,700 passengers and 1,200 crew members. The cruise ship reached the Port of Barcelona on Thursday last year, and will start carrying its first passengers on Saturday. It will then cruise the Mediterranean, until reaching French and Italian ports.

The vessel is an Oasis-class cruise ship owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. It has the same facilities like all Oasis-class ships. Yet they have added new services. For example, there is a new gastronomic offer, as well as aerial and musical performances. What's more, there is a park with 12,000 tropical plants and the highest slide at sea. In fact, the innovation and the use of new technologies are one of the main characteristics of the ship.

The 'Symhony of the Seas' was launched to the public last March in the Spanish city of Málaga, in southern Spain. After leaving on its maiden voyage, it will return to Barcelona once a week, after cruising the Mediterranean coast. The arrival of the 'Symphony of the Seas' came after the 'Harmony of the Seas', a cruise ship owned by the same company, which was also docked at the Port of Barcelona for a while.
