Alleged suspect hands himself into police and says his identification documents were stolen

Driss Oukabir, identified by police as an alleged suspect of the Barcelona's terrorist attack, handed himself into police on Thursday evening after seeing his picture on TV. He said to the agents that this younger brother, Moussa, stole his identification documents, ACN has learnt. Oukabir added that he played no part in the attack in Barcelona and that he was actually in his local town of Ripoll, northern Catalonia, when the incident happened.

Police earlier released his picture as an alleged suspect of the terrorist attack, which caused 13 dead and more than 80 injured in central Barcelona.
