Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Fiery Furnaces, Broadcast and Half Japanese confirmed for Primavera Sound

The pop-rock music festival will use one of its previous locations, the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona’s Montjuïc hill. The most talked about performances from the first round of confirmed acts are Ariel Pink, the Fiery Furnaces, Broadcast and Half Japanese.

Barcelona (ACN).-             The Primavera Sound Musical Festival has begun announcing confirmed shows for its upcoming edition. Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Fiery Furnaces, Broadcast and Half Japanese have all been confirmed to play next year’s festival. The festival will come back to Barcelona’s Poble Espanyol venue and will move to Montjuïc to celebrate the opening and closing of its 11th edition, on the 25th and 29th of May. The festival’s three main days, the 26th thorough the 28th of May, will take place as always at the Parc del Fòrum, next to the sea.


The freak folk of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, the conceptual indie rock from brother and sister duo The Fiery Furnaces, the British indie rock band Comet Gain, the retro-futuristic, electronic band Broadcast from Birmingham and an exclusive reunion show from the cult indie band Half Japanese are among the most anticipated performances from the first round of confirmed shows.
