Representatives of the audiovisual industry in Catalonia came together on Friday to call on the Catalan Parliament to pass a new digital media levy after Spain’s Constitutional Court overturned the Catalan audiovisual tax earlier this month. The industry claims that a levy is necessary to avoid a collapse of the audiovisual sector.
