The deposed president of Catalonia left the German Neumünster prison today, in the afternoon. He was released on bail, following a court ruling that was a major blow to the Spanish judiciary, as Germany did not accept the charges of rebellion. In his first public appearance, Puigdemont demanded the release of his colleagues, imprisoned in Madrid, and said that is was a disgrace for there to be political prisoners in Europe.
