Low-cost airline LEVEL on Wednesday began a new route from Barcelona to the US city of Boston. One of the long-haul company’s Airbus A330-200 planes took off from Barcelona’s El Prat airport at around 4.20 pm with 314 passengers on board, all of the seats available on the flight.

LEVEL’s new Barcelona-Boston route features two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, offering a total of 1,200 places between the inward and outward bound flights. What’s more, LEVEL has announced that it wants to include a third weekly flight over the summer months.

The Barcelona-Boston route expands the airline’s offer that already includes flights to Buenos Aires, San Francisco, Punta Cana and Los Angeles, although the latter only runs during the summer months. LEVEL is based in Barcelona Airport and is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG) holding company.
